Vision
Our vision
Data stewards turn FAIR and Open Science principles into daily practice, yet their role is still undervalued, with unclear career paths and uneven institutional support. STewardship and Recognition for DAta Science Talent (STARDAST) will work to make data stewardship a recognised, skilled and connected profession across Europe.
It will help institutions build the roles, skills, career pathways and support structures that enable data stewards to thrive, and help researchers put FAIR and Open Science into practice. STARDAST builds on Skills4EOSC and FAIR-IMPACT and contributes to the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC).
